Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset my progress?
Open the app and go to Settings > Reset Progress. This clears your stars, coins, achievements, streak, and purchased cosmetic items, and returns the game to a fresh state. This action cannot be undone.
How is my progress stored?
Progress is saved locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. It is not backed up to iCloud and is not synced across devices. Nothing about your progress is transmitted off your device.
I lost my progress — can it be recovered?
Because progress is tied to the app's local storage on a single device, it cannot be recovered if it is lost. Specifically:
- Deleting and reinstalling the app wipes all progress.
- Progress does not transfer to a new iPhone (no iCloud sync in the current build).
- Using Reset Progress in Settings permanently clears your save.
Unfortunately, the developer cannot restore lost progress, as no save data ever leaves your device.
Does the game cost money or have in-app purchases?
The current build has no in-app purchases. Coins and cosmetic items are earned by playing the game.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. Late to Everything runs entirely on-device and does not require an internet connection to play.
What age is the game suitable for?
Late to Everything carries a 4+ age rating.
